Why I No Longer Rely on Cloud Storage Alone
For years, I assumed services like Google Drive and Dropbox were enough. They were convenient. Automatic. Invisible. Until they weren’t.
One day, I lost access to a folder. Gone were chapters of a manuscript. Dozens of guided meditations. Images from my work with students. Years of contribution — vanished without warning.
If our legacy only exists in one place, it isn’t protected — it’s fragile.
What Digital Legacy Really Means
