You can clearly see magic and beauty in nature,
but you make yourself separate and distant from your origin.
Metamorphosis is a constant occurrence there,
astounding, and accountable to no human.
You similarly have seasons and phases,
mystical tides and solar eclipses,
the forcing of the demented soul through torrential fire
to reveal only the pure gold of nature’s first child.
