Climb the symmetrical steps, one by one,
exerting spirit not mind.
Climb until you drop the word ‘climb,’
and as it clatters down in diminuendo
discern that the marble geometry which lifts you
is a reflection of the structure of your soul,
and that no effort is required to rise .
